Tonya has been a hairstylist in the Albany, NY area for over 12 years and offers most salon services for men, women, and children. She has advanced training and expertise in all facets of hair color, blonding / lightening services, balayage, and fashion colors, as well as hair cutting and hair design. Tonya is certified with Brazilian Blowout and offers all Brazilian Blowout services. Additionally, she is licensed in aesthetics and provides several skin care, waxing and make up services. Her specialty has significantly grown over the years to include several certifications and advance training in various methods of hair extensions. Some of these include Dreamcatchers, JZ Styles, Bombshell, Bellami Pro, HairTalkUSA, and others which offer i-tip/microbeaded, tape ins, and hand tied wefts. Within the last year, she began providing the highly sought after beaded weft hand tied extensions that are taking over the extension world. Her clients are loving them! Salon 109 Ownership Announcement

To All Our Fabulous Salon 109 Clients,

I would like to take this opportunity to make an announcement and thank each and every client who has supported me and everyone at Salon 109 throughout the years. I have met so many wonderful people and consider many not only clients, but true friends. Your patronage and friendships are truly appreciated and dear.

Don’t panic, nothing is changing at Salon 109 except ownership. For varied reasons, I have decided to sell Salon 109. My first stylist job was over 41 years ago and I’m ready to slow down a bit, spend more time with my Dad, and be an “Indian” again and not a “Chief”. I’m happy to announce YeMei (E-May) Han is the new owner. YeMei recognizes we have great relationships with our existing clients and will work hard to ensure you continue to receive the same high quality customer service and Salon services in a safe clean environment. There are no major changes planned for the Salon in the short term and YeMei is keen on developing the Salon’s future potential.

I’ll happily be helping YeMei with the transition and will continue to provide services to my clients at Salon 109. Both YeMei and I are available if you have any questions or concerns and we both look forward to your continued support and seeing you at the Salon!
